A 10 dollar deal on feature mom posts for Michigan Mom Consultants

If you are a Michigan mom consultant for Scentsy, Thirty-One, Avon, Mary-Kay, Simply Said, Arbonne, etc., Michigan Home Mommy Works is currently having a deal just for you on feature mom posts.  From now until June 30th, feature mom posts for mom consultants will only be $10 ($25) value.

If you would like to take advantage of this Michigan Home Mommy Works deal, please submit your bio, info highlighting your consultant business, and any logo or picture images to lindsey@michiganhomemommyworks.com.  Being a representative or consultant for any of these companies can be tricky at times (former Arbonne Consultant) so it's my goal to help you get noticed by showcasing your business.

On top of my $10 deal for Michigan mom consultants, the first five to submit their info will get a lifetime business listing on me, ($35 value).  I previously announced this deal on the Michigan Mom Consultants Network and received a response but have not heard back.  If I get the green light there will be 4 spots left.  If I do not hear from this Michigan mom consultant today, the fifth spot will be opened back up to anyone.

It is an absolute joy to be able to spread the word about your business.  Working together really makes a difference.  Don't let this deal pass you by!

*If you are a Michigan mom with any type of business and would like to have your business featured on Michigan Home Mommy Works, feel free to contact me at lindsey@michiganhomemommyworks.com.

Military Apparel Company

I would like to introduce to you another amazing yet unique Michigan mom business: Military Apparel Company. Before sharing this business with you I would like to introduce a Senior Recruiter/Director of Military Apparel Company, Lori Thueme.

Michigan business mom Lori Thueme, has been married for 24 years and is a mom of 3 children. Lori and her husband live in Saint Clair and are "months away from beginning a new chapter in their lives as empty nesters."

Lori's oldest daughter Aimee just graduated from Ferris State with a Bachelor of Science and is going back to pursue her Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. Her son Erik is a Senior Airman in the Air Force. He is currently in Utah after spending two years in Germany. Lori's youngest daughter Ariana will be graduating from high school and is currently waiting for her leave date for Air Force Basic Training.

"After my son left the Air Force, I was looking for anything military that I could display to show my pride for him and our country. I found Military Apparel Company online and fell in love with the variety of items and love that they are made from his uniforms that I can send in."
~Lori Thueme

Lori has worked her way up with Military Apparel Company as Senior Recruiter and Director with the company. She is still involved in sales as a recruiter and also with management as a director in charge of the company's social media and hiring and training of new recruiters.

"I love to help other women build their businesses and share this unique opportunity."
~Lori Thueme

Lori loves that fact that Military Apparel Company's creations are made from personal uniforms which allowed her to keep a little of her son with her while he was in Germany. This Michigan mom business can take any item of sentimental value and turn it into a useful or meaningful bag or accessory giving it new life.

"Giving back a portion of my sales to organizations that support the military is very important to me."
~Lori Thueme

If you would like more info on Military Apparel Company's products, you can contact Lori directly at: (810) 637-1542. You can also visit her website at www.militaryapparelcompany.com/Lori and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/militaryhandbag.com.lori.

"Not only is Military Apparel Company known for designing great bags and accessories, they are a great source of support for the military community."

A big Thank you to Lori for allowing me to showcase her business today. Her story is very inspirational and something that will be remembered and cherished in the days to come. I know that the military is close to my heart as my father-in-law fought for our country in the Vietnam War. My husband was on his way into the Marines until a knee injury hindered his entrance after ROTC. He still is a major supporter as it runs in his family. I have a cousin currently serving our country overseas and we are praying for protection and a safe return. His lovely bride is waiting for him in Alaska and we think of them often!

A Free Network for Michigan Mom Consultants

For those of you who have not heard the news, the new Michigan Mom Consultant Network Beta Testing is now over.  But guess what?  I found a small payment plan (which Michigan Home Mommy Works was able to cover) and the network is now free to all Michigan mom consultants.  It was going to originally be $20 a year per consultant but found that wasn't going to work so I found a plan where it's only $20 for the entire year for everyone!  Isn't that great?  In the days ahead I anticipate more features as the network grows.

If you know of a Michigan mom who also happens to be a consultant for say Avon, Mary Kay, Scentsy, Thirty-One, Arbonne, etc., (the list goes on and on) please send them to our new network.  It's a chance to connect with other consultants and give each other encouragement etc., and possibly purchase each other's products and begin word of mouth to build teams.

If you would like to know more about the Michigan Mom Consultant Network, you can contact me at lindsey@michiganhomemommyworks.com or you can preview the sign-up/sign-in page here.

Sorry that this post is short. As you may have read yesterday, I just got over a very brief flu bug and getting back into things today.  I have a few more posts lined up in the future ranging from Michigan mom featured posts to mom deals etc., stay tuned for those.  I hope you have a blessed day Michigan business moms! It looks like a beautiful one.

I've Been Bitten by the Flu Bug

Well this Michigan business mom has been bitten by the flu bug. I haven't gotten the flu in ages. I am barely propped up as I type this on my Kindle Fire so please excuse me for any typos etc. This thing is sensitive and not really equipped for writing work like my laptop.

Because of this nasty bug bite (haha) I will not be posting and updating relevant posts until tomorrow.

Many blessings to you Michigan business moms!

Linkable Logo/Banners for Online Advertising

Good afternoon Michigan business moms. I hope you all had a very blessed weekend!  I trust you enjoyed our latest Michigan mom feature post.  If you didn't get a chance, feel free to check it out.

Today, I would like to briefly talk about online advertising and what it can do for your business.  As many of you may have already learned, Michigan Home Mommy Works offers multiple advertising options to help spread the word about your business.  This is especially beneficial whether your business is online or offline.  Either way, we are in a day and age where pretty much every business out there has some sort of business website and engages in social networking.

Just recently, I signed up with a program that allows me to turn all non-linkable business website logo/banners into linkable logo/banners.  This is perfect for advertising on sites such as Michigan Home Mommy Works.  When a reader sees your banner and becomes curious they just click it and presto! It takes them to your business website.  This concept is currently used all over the Internet and is a great way to bring customers to your business.  You can see evidence of this practice on the right side bar of the blog.  Thanks again to Kathryn Clark of Simply Said and Jessica Preston of Finding Freedom for allowing me to advertise their Michigan mom businesses.  Simply Said is an example of a non-linkable logo/banner transformed into a linkable logo/banner.

Another version, (specifically used for blogs such as this) is a logo/banner with a HTML code underneath.  This is where you copy and paste the code and embed it into your blog editing system.  Michigan Home Mommy Works currently has this version as you can see on the right side bar of the blog.  Feel free to take my button and put on your blog/site! Hint, hint, haha!

If you currently have a non-linkable business website logo/banner and would like to transform it for online advertising, contact me at lindsey@michiganhomemommyworks.com.  I would be very happy to get that set up for you for a small fee.  Please contact me for details.

If you would like to advertise on Michigan Home Mommy Works blog, don't hesitate to contact me or visit the advertising page and fill out an order form.  I submit all invoices through Paypal within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Many blessings!

Love's Creation Inc.

Michigan business moms, I would like to introduce to you an amazing yet unique Michigan mom business:

Copyright: Love's Creation/Nataki Tompkins
Founder, Nataki Tompkins, is a wife, mother, and Minister of God.  She has worked with a well known pharmacy retail company for 16 years.  Overall, Nataki has 24 years of experience in customer service and 20 years in management and administration.  In 2010, she sacrificed her career to be at home with her two young boys.  This was something she felt very strongly in her heart.

As a result of this opportunity of being a stay-at-home mom, the long desire to become an entrepreneur has presented itself.  The Lord laid on her heart this simple yet very profound quote; “In a world of possibilities, seize opportunity” and this is what she is doing. With this quote, Love’s Creation Inc. was formed.  Making Christmas gifts for her friends and family has turned into an every day passion.

"This is more than a business it is a ministry."  ~Nataki Tompkins

Michigan Business Moms Unite

I am so grateful and blessed by the responses Michigan Home Mommy Works blog has been receiving.  My vision for this blog was to connect Michigan business moms and it is now coming into full fruition.  I have met so many amazing moms all over Michigan and I look forward to many more connections.

Just recently, I was asked if I hosted events for Michigan business moms.  Even though I am not equipped for something like this as of yet, I definitely don't want to ignore the possibility that could arise for this Michigan blog's future.  You just never know right?  I never anticipated this becoming any sort of business as I see this as a hobby that I thoroughly enjoy.  Even my freelance writing business is a joy so I guess I have been blessed in this area.  I never thought I would be doing something like this in a million years.  Me?  A preschool teacher?  First it was preschool teacher gone mommy, then it was mommy gone homeschool teacher, now it's homeschool teacher/mommy gone work from home mom, love it!  Keep in mind, I still homeschool my children, haha!
